Studied at Naropa’s Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics with Ginsberg, Burroughs, Corso 1977. Member of the San Francisco based poetry/art magazine collective Birthstone, Arms of Venus new wave rock band in ’80s and part of the Wordland performance poetry group in the early ’90s.
Nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2002, Marti’s published poetry includes City Lights Journal and Beatitude Golden Anniversary issue.
